Complete Leo Faulkner Discography
A chronological overview of every musical project and release associated with Leo George Faulkner, from his earliest work in Bristol's underground scene to Sleep Token's chart-topping albums. This discography covers all confirmed studio albums, EPs, singles, and notable credits linked to the man identified as Vessel.
Blacklit Canopy (c. 2010–2014)
Leo Faulkner's first known musical project, Blacklit Canopy, was a Bristol-based ambient and atmospheric project formed alongside Gemma Matthews during or shortly after his studies at BIMM Bristol. The duo produced ethereal, layered music that blended ambient textures with gentle vocal passages - a sound that, in retrospect, clearly foreshadowed the atmospheric elements that would define Sleep Token's quieter moments.
Blacklit Canopy's releases were limited and largely self-distributed through SoundCloud and Bandcamp. Exact release dates and track listings are difficult to confirm, as much of the material has since been removed from public platforms. What survives in fan archives reveals a young musician already experimenting with layered vocals and genre-blurring arrangements.
Dusk (c. 2014–2016)
Between Blacklit Canopy and Sleep Token, Faulkner briefly operated under the solo moniker "Dusk." Even less is documented about this project than Blacklit Canopy, but fan research has uncovered early uploads attributed to the name that share sonic DNA with both Blacklit Canopy's ambient leanings and Sleep Token's later emotional intensity. The Dusk project appears to represent a transitional period in which Faulkner was refining the vocal and compositional approach that would eventually become Sleep Token.
Sleep Token EPs
Thread the Needle / One (2016–2018)
Sleep Token's earliest material appeared online in late 2016, with the project's mythology and anonymous presentation established from the very first upload. The debut EP, commonly referred to as One, introduced the core elements of the Sleep Token sound: ethereal clean vocals over atmospheric instrumentation that could pivot to crushing heaviness without warning. Key tracks included "Thread the Needle" and "Nazareth," which quickly built a cult following.
Two (2017)
The follow-up EP expanded Sleep Token's sonic palette further, incorporating more prominent electronic elements and demonstrating greater confidence in genre juxtaposition. "Calculus" and "Jericho" became fan favourites, and the EP's release through Basick Records marked Sleep Token's first engagement with an established label infrastructure.
